Silk Road Effect Review: Road To 1,800 Bucks A Day Or A Scam?

Silk Road Effect Review. Funny name for an eCommerce program that is supposed to make you $1,800 a day.

Is Silk Road Effect a Scam? Only one way to find out is to grab this Clickbank product and take a close look, but I am not holding my breath and expecting to really make a lot of money.

My past experiences with similar products have not been too pleasant, to say it nicely, but that's how it is...if you don't try, you'll never know.

Let's get to it, here is my Silk Road Effect Review

Summary: I have reviewed way over 100 products in the 'make money online' niche and most of them didn't fare too well. Silk Road Effect is at the bottom of the barrel because it is simply worthless and of no use, but cannot be classified as scam.

Rating: 0.5 out of 5

What Is Silk Road Effect?

The owner likens his product to the 'effect the original Silk Road' had but he forgets to mention which one he is talking about.

Is he talking about the historical network of trade routes started during the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) between Europe and China, or the first modern Darknet market, best known as a platform for selling illegal drugs (2013).

At any rate, Steven Jenkins (not the owner/creator) but a hired narrator claims that HIS Silk Road Effect is making him $40,000 per month, and that he made over 1 Million last year. Well, he knows how to overstate, but his math is off a bit, or a mile if you ask me.

Anyways,  he asks you if you would be interested if he would show you how to become a millionaire. His secret is to buy something for $5 and sell it for $100, so he says, and all you need is his system.

He keeps on going with his over hyped sales pitch for a good 20 minutes, but you learn at least what his big money maker really is:

Drop Shipping using eCommerce

Definition of Drop Shipping:

Drop Shipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn't keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the merchant never sees or handles the product.
The biggest difference between Drop Shipping and the standard retail model is that the selling merchant doesn't stock or own inventory. Instead, the merchant purchases inventory as needed from a third party – usually a wholesaler or manufacturer – to fulfill orders.

Definition of eCommerce:

Ecommerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce, refers to the buying and selling of goods or services using the internet, and the transfer of money and data to execute these transactions. Ecommerce is often used to refer to the sale of physical products online, but it can also describe any kind of commercial transaction that is facilitated through the internet.
Whereas e-business refers to all aspects of operating an online business, ecommerce refers specifically to the transaction of goods and services.

Without a doubt, drop shipping is 100% legitimate and a good way to make money online. However, it is a complex subject and not as easy as the creator of Silk Road Effect wants you to believe (for more info, click this link).

But back to the sales video in which Steven claims that the secret behind Silk Road Effect 'has been held back from YOU for hundreds of centuries'.

He is now ready to reveal a terrible secret that has made him 1.3 million in just one year.

For the next 20 minutes you will hear a lot of BS, excuse my language, but that's what it is. The bottom line is...you will have to buy this darn thing to find out what it really is. And I did just that.

Inside Silk Road Effect

As soon as I had access to the member area, the big bubble busted. This hundreds of years old secret that, supposedly, is making this scheister Steven a million bucks a year is one sad sack of nothing.

What you see in the image above IS IT!

Download Silk Road Effect gives you a 3 page pdf-file that conveys an overview of running an eCommerce store. 3 pages that can't even scratch the surface of a rather complex online business concept.

Download The Silk Road Effect Videos gives you 10 rather short videos (from 3 to 10 minutes), which have been last updated in August of 2016.

And that's it.

How Much Does Silk Road Effect Cost?

Access to this thing cost you $17 but if you try to exit it will be discounted to $9.

But that gives you access to the pdf-files and videos ONLY! Now you need a store where you can display and sell your products from. And they give you the link to open a Shopify Store.

Shopify Cost

Shopify gives you a 14-day FREE trial which is just time enough to learn the basic online store set-up; after that, the basic membership will cost you $29 a month.

Depending on the number of products you will carry, the monthly cost will go up.

Upsell 2: Marco Polo Secret: $197

Good ol' Marco has nothing to do with that, and there is no secret either. Go to berlo.com and download Dropshipping 101 for FREE (it will have a different cover than the 'Marco edition' LOL)

Pros Of Silk Road Effect

It is a Clickbank product and they give you a 60-Day Money Back Guarantee-No Questions asked.

Cons Of Silk Road Effect

  • The training material is out dated and useless
  • Setting up eCommerce is complex and not easy
  • Start-Up is expensive
  • Unrealistic Earning Projections
  • The whole thing is nothing but a money grab

Is Silk Road Effect A Scam

By law it is not a scam because you do get 'product', even if the training material is completely useless. I will call it a 'borderline SCAM' because it is nothing but a money grab. Stay away and save you some headache.
