Inbox Blueprint 2.0 Review

Anik Singal is, without any doubt, one of the most successful Internet marketers. Over the past 2 years Anik has trained thousands of students how to build a successful email marketing business.

Inbox Blueprint 2.0 was launched with a lot of hype and fanfare…more about this in just a bit.

But before you dig into my Inbox Blueprint 2.0 Review, let me say this!

If you are a total beginner with absolutely zero knowledge about Internet marketing, Inbox Blueprint is definitely NOT for you. It is geared towards folks who have already built their online business, understanding the fundamentals of the industry, making at least some profit AND are now looking to expand their business with email marketing.

It is not as easy as Anik Singal claims it to be.

Let me ask you a question:

Do you think that watching 50 hours of videos, that show every details of a heart transplant surgery, will enable you to perform such a procedure?

Of course, you could not, because there is a lot more involved that cannot be learned from these videos. And the same is true with our project on hand.

You need to build the foundation of your business first, BEFORE you can venture out into the different ways to make money online, and email marketing is just a method to create a customer base for your business.

Do You Want To Know How I Built My Online Business?

What Is Inbox Blueprint 2.0?

Inbox Blueprint is an online membership site that provides its members with…

  • An online training course, which teaches every aspect of Email Marketing
  • A software package that allows the user to perform all necessary actions IN ONE PLACE, and automates the whole process from creating opt-in pages, Thank You and Follow Up messages, to building sales funnels and email broadcasts, and tracking the results.

Why Email Marketing?

“The money is in the list”, which is a well-known fact. Let me briefly talk about the power of email marketing. The most popular and easiest way to make money online is promoting other people’s products through Affiliate Marketing.

You build a website, add content, get ranked in the search engines, people find your site, and when a visitor makes a purchase through your affiliate link, you’ll get paid a commission. That’s affiliate marketing in a nutshell. Pretty easy, pretty simple, and many people, including myself, are able to make a livable income with it. BUT…

…there is one big problem! Once the visitor to your site purchases the product or service you promote, they become the customer of the merchant. And if they make purchases in the future, you will NOT receive recurring commission

Obviously, you don’t have any means to make the customer come back to your site to make future purchases, unless you follow the advice of smart marketers and start building your list. This is done by means of baiting visitors to your site with FREE give-away items to subscribe to your email notifications.

This enables you to contact YOUR customers, or potential customers with follow up information or offers.

Anik Singal didn’t come up with the concept of email marketing; he was not even born in 1978, when Gary Thuerk of Digital Equipment Corp [DEC] sent out the first mass email to approximately 400 potential clients via the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network [ARPANET].

However, Anik realized the great potential of the business model ‘email marketing’ and, after going through some trial and error periods, was able to make millions of dollars.

About Inbox Blueprint 2.0:

The Launch:

Wanna see a perfect example of a successful email campaign for an upcoming event and the (necessary?) hype build-up to get as many participants as possible? Don’t look any further. Anik’s pre-launch campaign for the release of Income Blueprint 2.0 speaks for itself.

I subscribe to many email lists for the purpose of finding material for this here website. When I received a piece in my inbox from a self-proclaimed ‘Super Affiliate & Launch Jacker‘ informing me of an upcoming series of THREE FREE webinars by Anik Singal, I didn’t hesitate to ‘reserve my seat‘ because of Anik’s reputation.

I signed up on April 26 and the first webinar was scheduled for April 28, 2016. Not even 5 minutes after I hit the join button, Anik’s campaign started. Check the images from bottom to top and count.

Over a period of 17 days I received 30 pieces of emails; Anik made sure that I cannot and will not miss out on what he has to tell me.

The Webinars/Workshops/Q&A Sessions:

Oh my, oh my. The guy is good, I have to admit. Anik talks a lot; Anik talks a lot and fast; and Anik says a lot and fast that makes sense. To make this short, the first webinar took a whopping 3 hours and 17 minutes. The first hour was basically his biography, how he started out, failed, started anew and went through periods of trial and error, and how he made his first couple of million dollars.

He explains how he lost his business almost overnight, but was determined to make a big comeback. And so he did. When he finally came to the point of explaining what improvements and updates have been made to Inbox Blueprint, I was ready to call it quits, to be honest.

I am glad I hung in there and watched how Anik built an email business model in less than 20 minutes, using the software package that comes with BP 2.0. I was impressed. Of course, a newbie will not be able to that, but even if it would take one day or two, the time saving is remarkable.

Needless to say that Anik is a master in creating hype and excitement. He repeats often times how much money he invested in the course and the software (over $200,000), how simple and easy it is to use (true), how great the potential is to make lots of money (to be seen), that this is NOT a get rich quick scheme (correct), and that he needs at least a 2 months commitment from his students (I’ll tell you later why).

There were 3 webinars followed by a couple of live Q&A sessions on his Facebook site. All in all a good experience, although much too long for my liking.

Number of Attendees:

On April 29th I received an email from aforementioned Super Affiliate, saying:

Wow… Crazy!

The Internet is still buzzing about Anik Singal’s first Livecast Workshop! He even told me it was the absolute best one he’s done this year — maybe in the last 2 years!

There were literally tens of thousands of people watching…

Enough to fill a small stadium!

WOW, what a Crazy overstatement. The number of attendees is clearly visible while the live webinar is in progress. Here are the real numbers:

Day 1: 2,894 at the start, dwindling down to around 1,900 at the 3 hour mark, shortly before the 20 minute sales pitch ended

Day 2: 1,759 at the start, about 980 made it through to the end

Day 3: Just a little over 1,000

The Inbox Blueprint Training Course:

The course is comprehensive, although easy to follow. It teaches EVERY aspect of email marketing and is designed to take your online business to the next level.

The 8 Steps Of Inbox Blueprint 2.0:

There are 8 course module (steps) and I am not going to describe in detail what is covered in each step. You can easily find the sales pages of Anik’s affiliates, which are way more qualified to render a correct description:

  • Addiction Meter – Choose Niche & Products
  • The Bait – All about opt-in pages
  • TYP Method – Thank You page design
  • The Email Machine – All about autoresponders
  • Email List Relationship – Building relationship with your subscribers
  • Payday Secrets – Offering your own products
  • Easy Traffic – Free traffic strategies
  • Unlimited Success – Metrics, metrics and more metrics

The Inbox Blueprint Software:

The graphic below shows you the typical Email Business Model taught in the course:

What you see here is a simplified flowchart of a typical email marketing sales funnel. There is some intensive planning involved, which will be covered in module 1 of the Inbox Blueprint course, but then it works like this:

Step 1:

You have a list of potential customer. After choosing your niche and products, you create a One-Page website, which is basically a simple Opt-In page. Inbox Blueprint provides you with a number of ready to use templates, which are easy to edit and customize to your liking.

Step 2:

Sending out emails to a list (either your own, or to a ‘buy clicks list‘) will create traffic and drive potential customers to your opt-in page. You offer something of value to entice them to subscribe to this particular offer. Subscribers will receive a finely drafted ‘Thank You email’, which, hopefully leads to the purchase of the product or service you are promoting. “Ka-ching“, you’ll like the sound of a cash register, don’t you?

Step 3:

Unlike in traditional affiliate marketing, with this business model you now add the opt-ins to YOUR database, or list for future email campaigns, which will enable to make customers YOUR OWN.

Step 4:

This actually should be Step 5 because you don’t have your own product yet. But Anik is right. To make the big bucks, you should, at some point, create your own product, set the price yourself, and instead of getting commission in return, you keep a higher percentage of the profit.

In addition, you now are able to have affiliates PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCT, reach a much greater customer base, and pay commissions to your affiliates. You also can offer Upsells, Cross Sells and Down Sells, which provide additional income.

Step 5:

Of course, you will never abandon selling products for a commission, so this step will be with you for as long as you are in business.

This sounds and looks pretty easy and simple. Right?

WRONG! I know from experience that creating a sales funnel is tedious and very time consuming. You are working with at least two third-party products; autoresponder (Aweber, getresponse, etc.) which handle your email sequences and broadcasts, Opt-In and Sales Page creators (LeadPages), and it is rather difficult to visualize your work. This is where the Inbox Blueprint Software comes in.

It is a work of beauty, really. You have everything IN ONE PLACE and you can visually see every step, and every single email in the sequence. It is a drag and drop system, and if you don’t like a particular email in the spot you placed it, NO PROBLEM; just drag it to the right location. Adding or deleting an email is plain simple as well.

Anik Singal demonstrated the use of his software during his never ending webinars, and he actually created one business model in 16 minutes. An impressing act, indeed.

However, he knows the software in-and-out, and he really did not much of editing. Regardless, the software is great. Even if it would take you TWO days to set up a campaign with a 20 emails sequence, the time savings using this software is priceless.

What I Like About Inbox Blueprint 2.0

The Training:

Anik Singal has put together a comprehensive, easy to follow and understand training course that covers every aspect of email marketing. He is holding nothing back, and teaches you exactly how he makes a ton of money.

Course Videos and Webinars:

The training is supported by high quality videos and recorded webinars which enhance the quality of the course

Page Templates:

The Opt-In Page Templates are well designed and tested to guarantee a high yield of subscriptions

The email swipe files you are able to use contain proven power words/phrases and subject lines, which makes the creation of effective emails very easy

The Software:

I already gave high praise to the design and working of the software, which is of immense help in setting up your email marketing business.

No False Claims!

I like the fact that Anik makes it very clear that his method IS NOT a Get-Rich-Quick Scheme and that it takes time to to achieve success. However, his hammering home the point that he needs a 60-day commitment from his students, makes me conspicuous that there may be another, more subtle reason for that.

What Are My Concerns About Income Blueprint?

Well, nothing is perfect, as we all know, and there are a few things I want to bring to your attention:

The Income Potential Is Based On Assumptions:

There is one particular segment in Anik’s presentations I watched repeatedly. Take a look at the screenshot, then let’s talk about the assumptions.

What is a Click? When a recipient of your email ‘clicks’ on the link to your opt-in page, you get ONE click.

  • Assumption 1: You get 125 clicks per day. Anik does NOT explain HOW MANY emails you need to send to get 125 clicks.
  • Assumption 2: 40% of the 125 visitors actually subscribe (leave their email address). In this case 40% of 125 = 50/day or 1,500 per month.
  • Assumption 3: Each subscription is worth $1 this month
  • Assumption 4: The T.Y.P. (thank you page) value is $1 worth every month going forward.

That means, you can assume that in the first month you make $3,000, and $10,500 in month 2 after you revved up your effort. Although Anik claims that these assumption are accepted industry wide, I have some doubts.

First off, and I speak from experience, the subscription value depends a lot on the product. Realistically, the value is more like somewhere between 35 cents and $1. Secondly, the T.Y.P. value cannot be assumed; there are too many unknowns and too many factors to consider, which Anik briefly admits in his workshop.

The main reason for my scepticism is the daily number of subscriptions, and the total of emails you will have to send out to get 125 clicks/per day, or 250 in month 2, as ‘assumed above’.

Necessary Investment Is Too High!

Unless you have already a list of 10,000 or more subscribers, you will have to purchase ‘clicks’ in order to to reach the potential income Anik proposes. Although, Anik will teach you how to drive FREE traffic to your opt-in page, your list building efforts will be much more time consuming.

In short, you can purchase 100 clicks (potential 40% subscribers) for as little as $35. You can do the math how much it will cost you to build a list of 10,000 subscribers.

Hidden Upsells?

$1,500 for the whole package is, in my opinion, a fair price considering the value you’ll get for your money. No doubt about it. What makes me a bit nervous, though, is the fact that there are NO obvious upsells (or cross/down sells).

I am sure Anik would not dispute the fact that, most likely, 60% or more of the fortune he made in his career came through upsells, and not from the front-end products. So, looking at the whole thing, I discovered a couple of hidden upsells:

Anik is co-owner of the Sendlane Autoresponder, which makes his software work the way it is designed to. Although Anik briefly touched on the subject of the use of other autoresponders (Aweber, Getresponse, etc.) and stated that these can be integrated, the software itself will not integrate with third party autoresponder systems.

In order to get the full benefits of the software, you will need to change over to Sendlane. Add $149 (25.000 contacts) to your monthly expenses. I call this a hidden upsell.

Where are you going to buy your clicks from? There are many solo ad (the official name for bought clicks) sellers out there; but isn’t it funny, kind of, that Anik Singal owns “Clickonomy”, a membership site for solo ad vendors, which conveniently is integrated with Inbox Blueprint?

Membership is free and I checked out site. I liked that the offers are categorized, but the clicks are way overpriced. Most sellers there charge between 60 cents to a dollar per 100 clicks.

Are there more upsells we don’t know about? I can assume there are, but I am not sure. I didn’t buy in at this point due to the fact that I just recently joined a similar membership site. I could try it out 2 weeks for free, my cost now is $97 per month, and I have the choice to cancel at any time I want to.

My Opinion About Inbox Blueprint 2.0:

Let me answer the many times asked question first.
